Rinoa wears a long sky-blue duster made of a ribbed knit material. The duster clasps in the front right below her bustline with two strips of knit fabric, one with two fasteners to allow for adjustment, and the other to hold whichever fastener is chosen. On the back of the shoulderblade area, two white stylized angel wings (see design here) have been painted on the fabric. Though it fits around her upper body like a vest, the lower half of the duster flows backwards and flourishes outward all the way down to her ankles. Underneath the duster, Rinoa wears a black v-neck tanktop. Around each forearm Rinoa wears arm warmers, made of the same knit as the duster and with folded hems for comfort and to give the arm warmers a slight poof to their edges. Her left arm also sports a black satin ribbon, tied into a long bow directly above her bicep. On her lower half, Rinoa wears black fitted shorts with one thick silver zipper down the front of each leg, and over top of this, a wrap-around skirt of deep blue worn denim with three silver buttons up the center to fasten it. Her legs are bare from the ends of the shorts down to her dark gray boots. The boots are laced up the front and fastened over the top of each ankle with black fabric straps and a rectangular silver plate. Rinoa also wears a necklace with two rings on it. The chain is made of angular silver links, and the rings are also both silver, one plain that belonged to her mother before she died, and one with a lion and angel wing design that belongs to Squall.

To the Inaugural Ball, Rinoa wears a creamy off-white dress, fitted to her curves and ending high on her thighs. The dress has a criss-crossed halter neck of satin ribbon that winds about her neck, then continues around to trim the top of the dress. The dress itself is of a matte stretchy material overlayed with stretch-chiffon. At the bottom edge, the chiffon extends past the opaque base fabric slightly and has no visible hemming. Prepared for ballroom dancing, Rinoa dons pointed-toe matching high-heels with a set of two thin straps wrapping around each ankle. For adornment, she wears her necklace, which at this point has only her mother's ring on it, and a silver bracelet wrapped snugly around her right wrist.
