Squall's Usual Outfit

Squall wears a black leather jacket that ends just at the bottom of his ribcage. It has silver snaps and a zippered front, as well as a grayish-white fur collar. Underneath his jacket, he wears a fitted (but not stretchy) white t-shirt and his necklace. The necklace is a thick chain with a clasp at one end and a pendent shaped like a lion's head with a pointed cross (see design here) at the other. Squall attaches the clasp up on the chain to give the necklace a y-shape. He also wears one silver stud in his left ear and a ring depicting Griever with wings that ends up on Rinoa's necklace. His pants are black and also presumably made of leather. On top of them, he wears several sets of belts. One black belt runs along his waistline, while two crimson ones, one with large bell-type adornments and the other with small silver studs, criss-cross over his hips. He also wears three black leather straps buckled around his right thigh. On his hands, Squall wears black leather gloves. His feet are also clad in black leather, this time in the form of shiny boots that are accentuated with buckled straps and d-rings.
Cadet Uniform

The cadet uniform is a dark navy blue with relaxed fit slacks, a jacket, and a plain white undershirt. The neckline is straight and stands up stiffly, accented with silver trim and swirly patterns. The front of the jacket has slit-style pockets on either side of the opening, also trimmed in silvery gray with a line trailing downward from the center of each. On the right sleeve of the jacket is a brown triangular patch with a white border. The cuffs are also navy blue with thick lines of silver at the top and bottom edges. In this uniform, Squall also wears the same boots as in his regular outfit, his earrings, and his Griever necklace.

The SeeD uniform is significantly different from the cadet one. The color scheme of this outfit is black with crimson and navy blue accents and gold trim. Closed tightly in the front, the jacket is cinched around the waist with a thick black belt and has a strap with a silver buckle that runs from the left shoulder. The neckline is solid and stands high, accented with triangular patches of white patterning on the throat. This same style of patterning appears on the front of the shoulders in gold-trimmed panels that are linked with a chain across his upper chest. The panels behind them extend around to the back of the jacket, where they form points over each shoulderblade, and are in deep navy blue. The cuffs each have one wide stripe of crimson, lined with gold. On his lower half, Squall wears black loose-legged pants and high black boots that gather in the fabric and cause a slight puff near the top of each calf.
